Fahrenheit 451 Connections

I have a text to text connection with the Giver. In the giver it is a "perfect society" where the government controls the amount of knowledge you have. Like in Fahrenheit 451 where nobody is allowed to have or read books. The government doesn't want people to have more knowledge then anyone else. This is similar to the Giver because the government controlled a lot of things like the weather and what people can see, like specific colors. But certain people didn't follow the government's rules. Like the woman in Fahrenheit 451 who had books and Montag was suppose to burn them but the women wouldn't let them, so she was burned with the books. In the Giver the main character, Jonah was his name i think, ran away from the society because he knew things that many people in the society didn't know and it made him sad but also mad. Both books, the Giver and Fahrenheit 451, both had "perfect societies" where characters knew more stuff then they should and suffered consequences.
