Catching Fire Symbolism

A symbol in my book Catching Fire is a Mocking Jay. A Mocking Jay symbolism how Peeta and Katniss mocked the Capitol in the first hunger games. It symbolizes the revolts in Catching Fire. Some of the distracts have started to try to revolt against the Capitol. The distracts that are revolting feel like the Capitol is taking unfair advantage of them with the Hunger Gams every year and how they are treated so poorly. I feel like a Mocking Jay is a symbol in Catching Fire because not only did Katniss and Peeta mock the capitol but the capitol also mocks the distracts. When Katniss and Peeta both won the hunger games the Capitol put more peace keepers in the distracts and made the laws harsher. I feel like this is the reason many distracts have decided to revolt against the capitol.
